Created for public interaction. Hello was installed with a microphone and speaker and was inspired by vintage gramophone horns. We wanted the work to give a voice to newcomers to the area, to serve as a tool of introduction, where refugees and migrants could speak through the work, and introduce themselves in a friendly way. Hello was installed in two locations: suspended from a rose arbor in Parramatta Park, 2012, and in the Parramatta CBD for the Parramatta Lanes Festival, 2013.
